I did get antibiotics last night and after one last night it is already getting better visually about a third less redness this am still sore but less and not as swollen. I also had to get a tetanus shot and now a knot where they put it and my arm is sore. I don't know when the last time I had one was.
My husband was joking with me a little baby cut but did a number on me. I told him things effect people differently and situations. I have cut myself before and been fine too but for some reason this did not go over too well. It is just a small poke hole.
I was cutting on a beef bone had been in the fridge several days it smelled bad but I was gonna give it to my saint to chew on. I was trying to cut off the extra fat and meat there was a lot on there. I did not want her to have all that. This knife I was using is flimsy but brand new. we use it to cut up chickens with and it is very very sharp. Well the tip is small and pointy and went into my finger. I immediately washed the cut and gave up after that I threw it all in the garbage but not my husbands knife.
he says he told me not to mess with his knifes.
It happened in the afternoon but when I woke up it was like the picture I posted. My finger started to be sore with in a few hours to type I noticed. I put peroxide on it and triple antibiotic with a bandage a few times too. It got that bad with in 24 hours probably more like 12 hours. I was worried more so cause I remember the meat smelling bad.
I think I am good to go now though....thank you all!
