What do you think of this feed? Anyone use it?

[Knock Kneed Hen]

This is the only brand of feed that my local feed store carries. I like to support local businesses, but I'm wondering if it's any good. It's the same price as Kruse's sold
down the hill. Anyone seen it or used it? I give my birds yogurt, BOSS, greens, egg yolks (I eat extra whites), plus other healthy scraps each week.

Sorry, not familiar with that type.

But the protein for your laying hens should be 16% and according to that, it is.

Not familiar with it, but it seems fine to me. Has the same or similar levels and ingredients most commercial feed has.

The protein, fat & fiber are fine for layers, but IMO there seems to be alot of fillers 11+% ash ??? way too much and soybean is a poor filler product. WTS it seems to be a run of mill standard layer feed, I hope it is affordable.

I haven't seen it either, but it does look just like regular commercial feed.



Why not feed Organic?
