Hey y'all! The chicks are getting bigger, and I'm wondering if anyone wants to predict if we have any roos!

We're raising five chicks (these are their estimated hatch dates)
1. Calico Cochin bantam (est 4/9)
2. Calico Cochin bantam (smaller, so maybe 4/14)
3. Wheaten Maran (est 4/14)
4. Ayam Cemani (est 4/14)
5. Ermine Ameraucana (est 4/14)

Lol they're so cute!! That one is really showing some independence LOL
This is our first time raising chicks - we got our big girls as 8-week old pullets. We've missed out!!

They all have the funniest personalities. The wheaten maran is my cuddly girl. The bigger bantam cochin is a daddy's girl. lol! The ermine is neurotic and hopping all over the place  The other two are just vibing and perching

Here they are: about 8-9 weeks old now. And boy, have they grown! Raising chicks has been the best experience!

The wheatan maran started to crow yesterday.
The light calico cochin bantam definitely seems like a cockerel.
The ayam cemani and the dark cochin bantam seem like pullets.
And maybe the ermine ameraucana might be a pullet? She had roo energy, but her comb/wattle growth has slowed down.

Featuring my partner volunteering has human perch. 💓
