What do you think... roo or pullet???

This is my first hatched chickie... Pistol Pete. I have heard many say that the first egg hatched is always a roo

So, even though it hatched from my pullet side (you'll have to go and read my post on sexing eggs...LOL) I went with the idea that it MUST be a roo since it was first to hatch

BUT.... it doesn't look at all rooish to me

No idea on breed... is a mutt from a friends amish mutt eggs

Oh yeah, it's about 5 weeks old.

I tried to get a pic of Pete standing... but he/she kept running off

It's pretty..I know nothing about sexing chicks..can't figure out my own.

Roos don't always hatch first. In my case they are the ONLY thing to hatch

It looks girly to me.
