Here's a hint: He's a mix of 2 breeds. When someone guesses I'll post an adult picture of him - he's one of the coolest looking chickens I've seen.

You're right! His dad was a black frizzle rooster.

Here he is a little older...

And here is what he pretty much looks like now. I'll try to take a better photo of him to show how his body is literally half frizzle and half smooth. His tail feathers have a green sheen to them that you can't see in the photos. I've never seen a chicken have half of a frizzle body and half of a smooth body.
