weasels are very small, now minks are bigger, but 6 inches is about right for a weasel.

what i want to see is the cat. that is some cat you have.

well, after opening my mouth, i see what i likely have called a weasel all my life is likely a stoat. I would have to check for Kentucky native mink family members.

I am going to correct myself,weasels and stoats are the same,according to most.Stoats are the European version of weasels.Your cat is very lucky,because 9 times out of 10 it would have killed the cat.

yeah, it is also known as the short tailed weasel or the ermine. I thought ermine was mink; i have heard it used in the name of furs and thought it was the same.

My grandfather told the story of his neighbor's rooster running past them just a hollering with a weasel on his back. He did get away, but that lets you know how fearless they are.

That cute little booger will wreak havoc with poultry. Sorry to see it chose coming around your place but better the weasel than your birds.
