What do you use for choice feeding?

I have little plastic cups that are meant to engage in the webbing in cages. I slip their hooks over a metal cleat at the base of the coop. The girls knock them off and kick up their bedding into them constantly.

Most recently they knocked one off and buried it somewhere so I've got to replace it and I wonder what's available that might stay in place and stay clean. What do you do?

Are these for chickens? If so why not just use a hanging feeder?

I put a bib on them, and let them eat at the dinner table! kidding

Yes. Little cups for the oyster shell, grit and crushed egg shells for my chickens. It's not large amounts. I don't see them working in a feeder exactly. ...unless I'm not understanding the sort of feeder you're referring to.

Okay I didn't understand the question--Grit and oyster shell I throw on the ground.... just feed goes in hanging feeders.

I use small pails for Oyster Shell. , and Granite Grit. . and water. 40oz and 60oz. GC
