What do you use for leg bands?

I think I have successful vent sexed one of my males but he is so similar in color to some other quails I have that I can't tell which one I sexed, lol. The closest store to me that sells the leg bands is an hour away. What else can I use?

I am currently using a zip tie on some of mine because I couldn't find my leg bands. I just put on a small zip tie loosely and cut off the end, has been on a couple weeks with no problems. This is only on my adult quail though, not chicks.

I bought some size 4 rubber legbands off ebay which came in at about $10 for 100 in 6 colours (and it was sent internationally so it would be cheaper in the US). They work well, easy to put on and haven't caused any issues though they are a tiny bit big.

I found a cheap pack of colored velcro strips used for holding and organizing cables at Walmart. I cut them into smaller bands and use those on my chicks and ducklings that look similar. Works well for the chicks, so I imagine it would for quails. The ducklings are messier and the bands soon lose their color, so I have to change them more often.
