I wish I would have known how addictive raising chickens is!
I didn't realize that they each have their own personalities and can be so much fun to have around!
I saw a shirt that says, "I only wanted 10 chickens but if God wants me to have 20... Then 40 it is!"

You will also worry an inordinate amount about it lol, so genuinely try to keep that stuff far away from them
