When my mom and dad were still living, the three kids I had at the time, would call my mother "Grammy Gator" and my dad was "Poppy Gator". You see, my dad graduated from the University of Florida, he was an attorney. Go Gators!!

I sure miss my parents, wish they were here to see all their grand kids.

we have always called my grandparents Sweetie and Papaw

my kids have Meemaw and pa & pop-pop and grandma (inlaws)

and grammy and grandpa (my parents)

My kids call my Mom "NanNan"...we were teasing her and telling our son (the first) to call her Grand-Mammy-she hated it!--- but NanNan stuck....
They call my dad "Big Daddy"...when Ian was very little we were telling him about family members and relations..... "This is my Daddy!" I said. He looked up at my 6'4" dad and said BIG daddy!

The other is his "Lola" ( I think its Philippine for Grandmother...she asked one of the Doctors at work for a better name than Grandma..)

He calls my Grandparents (his Great-Grandparents) Grandma and Grandpa like I do.

I always called my grandma "Gramie" or "Gram Cracker"- because when I was little once, I got confused between "Gramie" and "Grahm Cracker" and asked for a gramie and milk

Poor Grandma- the name stuck.

we call my dad's mom mama butta which means mother duck in arabic.
her name is fatma, and the nickname for that is butta, and so my great uncle taught us to call her that to annoy her.

we call my other grandma "anna" with emphasis on the n.
