Need to see what the exact measurement on a 6ml syringe looks like for deworming a kitten tomorrow.

If anyone can show me, it would be helpful? Thanks in advance.

Reading those things is tricky.

Syringe manufacturers can have different graduated markings. Can you get a good clear photo of the 6ml syringe you have? Pull the plunger back to around 4-5 so I can see the markings clearly.

If you don't have a photo of the one you have, can you find a photo of it online?

So i just put that much in a smaller syringe we have. Then put that in a 1/2" diameter syringe we had (sorry wasn't 6mL was a 30 mL (it's late here if I can I'll search tomorrow for one, didn't want to wake my family). It barely made it to the bottom mark to start the graduated measurements. If it's a dewormer even those are realatively safe if you are a tad over dosage. Like @Wyorp Rock said photos of your syringe would help. But if your syringe has the base line and is graduated at .2mL (one like that would have 4 smaller lines between each whole measurement) until the next whole number on the syringe, then giving a dosage slightly below (or even at the .2mL line should be fine (some will be residual on the syringe walls, and the kitten may spit some out). It's literally such a small amount- like literally prob 4 drops (you'd be better investing the couple dollars it would be running to a feed store or TSC to get a smaller sized syringe if you want a closer to exact amount.) Typically though a little over the recommended isn't going to hurt (under though wouldn't be effective). If I can find one in the AM i'll repost with a photo.

I can get a picture here in a few. Just got up a minute ago.

Here's the clearest picture I can get.

The dewormer I'll be using is Pyrantel Pamoate.

The markings on your syringe is graduated in 0.20ml, so the first mark past the large one at the end is 0.20ml.
I agree, If the dose is 0.15ml I'd draw to around that 0.20ml mark since you likely won't get every drop out and this will allow for spillage.
Most dewormers have a dosage range, so unlikely to overdose by a drop or two.

So, I can go slightly above the 0.20 mark to make sure I give enough?
