What does a baby splash look like?

A splash, from my understanding, occurs with blues and blacks. They are lighter with splashes of darker. I have a splash cochin named Luna here are her pics at different ages

This is her in the feeder...she looks light blue and yellow and FAT, 2 days old

You can tell in a week or so...the blue tinge does not go away and it is darker in spots. That is why I showed her profile. The white is really white though early on so you can tell they are white.

Most of the time the splashes have an undertone of blue from the beginning. It depends on what breed of chick you're talking about too. My splash BLRW chicks look nothing like my splash orps or wyandottes.

We are trying to take pics, but cant get great lighting or background.

What should i use for better pictures, background and lighting wise.
