What does a fertile egg look like?

My showgirl silkie has an egg in the bator that i think is fertile but i really don't know.
There is a 50-50 chance it is.
I need to see through an egg shell.

If you have any other eggs she has laid, crack one open and look for the bulls eye. If it is fertile, the one in the bator probably is. I don't think you can tell through the shell.

I really appreciate your effort in help but i need to see one from outside of and egg shell.

Incubate it for 7 days, then candle...If you see veins and a blob that moves, you've got a fertile egg, if you see just clear with a floating yolk, then you've got duds.

It has a red round ring near the bottom is that fertile?

Are there any veins? Or is it just a red ring?

If it is just a red ring, that is a blood ring. That means it was fertile, but died early. It would appear clear, with just a ring some where in it..
