So I've been reading posts on BTC now for about two weeks. I have figured out almost everything except what a "DH" is. Someone help me out!

I am a DH, in more ways than one.

Thanks for all the quick posts. I knew it had to have some reference to a husband, and most of the time I read it, it seemed to be used in a negative context, so I just wanted to find out what the "D" was for.

Thanks again!

Truthfully, this took me a while to figure out too! I finally decided that it could be: da_ _ husband; darn husband; darling husband (yeah right!!); dumb husband; dang husband; demented husband; dear husband; devoted husband or finally dearly departed husband (because, of course, if someone has to hit the road -- it won't be the chickens!) LOL!!!

In the "old" days, people didn't sit around online. You uploaded and downloaded your messages all at once, then read them and wrote posts when you weren't online. You paid by the minute, for the time you were connected. So, a lot of abbreviations were used, as it was cheaper.
