what does dh mean

Funny how we expect abbreviations to carry over in the forums, I figured there was some universal language? I was familiar with DH from old forums I used frequent related to infertility issues, adoption, etc....Dh was Dear or Darling Husband or whatever, SO was significant other, DS is Darling or Dear son, DD is Darling or Dear Daughter, DA was is for darling angels for the little ones that didnt make it, etc......maybe there could be an acronym and abbreviation list if there isnt one already in the BYC postings somewhere, for us newer folks. I was even wondering for a while what EE's were (I get it now - Easter Eggers!)...

Thats a good idea tfpets. It took me awhile to figure out that not everyone with lots of BO had bad hygiene!

I figure it means one of 2 things.

If the basic thread is complementary it means Darling Husband.

If the women is upset, it means what that other person implied that I wont repeat, but the H stands for Head

My husband asked the same question - I told him it depended on the husband's actions. We came up with a nice list of what it could mean -
dear
darling
darn
da**
doofus
dorky
dashing
desirable
(he came up with the last two)

I imagine the list could go on and on!
