what does egg bound mean??

someone told me that my chicken died because she was egg bound.

this was tons helpful...except i dont know what that means

ill just tell you. it means that she couldent lay her egg cuz it got stuck so she died .. possibly cuz of stress or pain or sonething... so basicaly it got stuck and yeah.

it is april fools joke- if you type in eg (spelled wrong so it won't change to rooster), the BYC forum joke changes it to rooster. Stupid to do this in the emergency forum, but oh well. So some told you that your hen was eg bound, not rooster bound...

So every time you type in eg (spelled wrong to avoid the joke), it will be changed to rooster? What about the eg recipies etc? Is it only in certain topics? At tleast this expains why some of these crazy chicken people keep referring their to their egs as roosters!
Are there any other jokes that I should be aware of?
