What does it mean?

I have the round one and I also bought the calibration kit. I've tested it several times and it holds temps and humidity. So far I really like it and I took out the other thermometer/hygrometer I had it was a flukers. The round ones they had at petsmart it was reading 10% off. That was probably why I had the last batch of chicks hatch out sticky. Hope it works out for you it's hard to lose that many eggs. I would try a baby thermometer too as a second back up.

I didn't go anywhere today as we got snow most of the day, so didn't get another hygro, maybe tomorrow. What should my humidity be right now at the beginning of incubation? Mine is 45% right now should I up it a bit?

First time using incubator. 42 eggs - 16 hatched. We found about 20 partially to fully developed that did not hatch. Are these numbers normal or is there something I can do to improve the percentages next time.

Incubator - Hova-Bator with auto turner. Temp 100, Humidity? but water in tray at all times.

Thanks in advance for help
