Solved What does the 'Ignore' button actually do?

I know that it's some variant of blocking, but what does it actually do? Can said person not respond to your posts? Can you not see their posts? Can they not see your posts? What happens?

You still know so-and-so said something, but you get a white bar saying ‘you’ve blocked content from said dingbat’. Really easy to scroll right past.

And if you click on the post it will say "This is content from an ignored member, read anyways?" And then you can click view anyways so you can still see the post if you really want to.
