What does this look like.

For mosquitos, it helps to be diligent about removing containers that collect rain water or treat the stored rain water with Mosquito Dunks, a non-toxic to wildlife and pets larvacide.

The other effective preventative is to vaccinate your flock against fowl pox. The med can be purchased at many online pharmacies and is given by needle syringe into the wing tissue.

A bit late here, but yes that is severe case of fowl pox. I agree that Terramycin eye ointment can be used to treat eyes where scabs are covering eyelids. Do not disturb scabs, since they can be infectious. You can apply Betadine povidone iodine to scabs away from eyes to help dry them out. Pox lasts several weeks and goes away without treatment. Survivors are immune to pox afterward. If you see any yellow lesions or gunk inside the beak, that is the wet or diphtheritic form of pox, and more dangerous. There is a fowl pox vaccine online available for areas with severe outbreaks.

Ok will do. I want to spry inside coup for mosquito control. Until I get some netting which someone suggested. Do you know what I can spray? safe for birds but killsthose damn mosquitos.

Permethrin 10 spray concentrate mixed with water in a spray bottle according to directions on package lasts 30 days in the coop, and is safe for birds. I let it dry for an hour or so. Ready to mix permethrin horse spray is also available, but the concentrate is more economical.

Mix 1.33 ounce to each gallon of water or 8 tsp per gallon. That would be 2 tsp per quart in a spray bottle.

There are some magnetic screens for doorways and you can place screens over windows as well. Clean often to reduce dust on surface.
