I have this egg and I havent seen any self movement in a couple of days (when I rotate it the dark part moves slightly and thats it) and it looks almost as if there are long air bubbles in a place or two. Can anyone tell me if this egg died or if not, whats going on? Also just as a note. I incubate my eggs under hens because my incubator greatly dislikes me, and I like the more natural method, also as a bonus I dont need to do anything except discard unfertil or bad eggs

i would leave it under there and check on it in a few days. mark it with a "?" or something so you know that one is questionable.

i think it should be okay, but i'm no expert.

I mark each egg as it is layed the days I set the hatch. Its E6, but I havent seen the thing move at all except when im rotating the egg when im candling. I usually see more movement than that

in every other egg, and this one is do this weekend or the coming week. I guess ill leave it till Wed or Thursday, but I would still like more gueses and info please.

What day is the egg on? I have had eggs die early that still have RED veining several days later. At this point nothing surprises me in an egg candling, cept may seeing a baby dino! Lol

Its on day 19, and also I forgot to add if you look at the first pic there are those weird blots splashes or something. Its not a ring though.

See, it looks like a healthy egg to me.
The dots are likely parts of the baby's body pressed against the egg. I see some nice veining and the embryo doesn't appear as a black, floating blob. So it looks good to me.

At day 19 they will move less and begin to position themselves for internal pipping. But that looks small for day 19, at least to me. But I am not too familiar with chicken eggs.

On a second look, it looks a tad fishy, but I'd still not give up on it.

Nuh uh. Those dots have been there for a few days, That, besides no movement on the babies part, is what causes me to think its dead. Ill bet my hen wasnt completely on it and it got too cold

Well, I hate to be the bringer of bad news but I think that egg isn't even close enough to being full enough for day 19, I imagine it is dead. I too, though, would leave it, another three days isn't going to hurt and stranger things have happened.
