Drakes will also gang up on ducks and can possibly drown them all trying to mate at one time so If you don't have any more females I'd sure be looking for more. 3and up females for each drake.

Thanks! Yes, I may be impartial but I am in awe of their beauty! So far, never had any bad or aggressive behavior with them. They are a tight group, but at the first sign of an issue, I will add some adult females.

I take it they are young Drakes that have not hit a breeding season yet?....Drakes are aggressive breeders...You will need more Hens or they could seriously injure her...

If they have access to swimming water, there is a strong possibility of drowning her during a session of 'gang breeding'.

8 months..Next spring when hormones start raging...Drakes become sexually mature and all calm is gone...Keep watching, once they start breeding her it could become over whelming...

They are getting close now I'd say, my Muscovy's didn't breed till following spring after hatch but my Runners and Buffs were breeding at 4-5 months of age I had to rehome 2 drakes. Kept 1.

Yes the start breeding but spring hormones are way worse...That's when intervention needs to happen...

My duck does something similar to this when she gets excited to see me! But she could also be showing submission to me too I suppose!
