ive been thinking alot about what i want in my flock when i move out of my parents house and get my own place. and i was curious what is everyones elses dream flock.

I would love to have many breeding flocks. Owlbeards, buckeyes, OE's (likely using BCM and ameraucanas), are among my dream breeds that I want to breed and sell. Probably other rare breeds as well. I also want to create my own breed.

samesies anyway this is my dream flock

im going to start of small with the bantams (see what i did there)
i plan to breed all my bantams myself starting with standard selectively breeding to get the smallest tiny itty bitty cutie bantams

the bantams will be seperated by breed in different coops

first coop we have my bantam wyandotte project

next up we have my favorite project real bantam cochins

you see all the bantam cochins sold her in the us arent actually smaller versions cochin devoloped through selective breeding their propper name is pekin
pekins are seperate breed from cochin that have very similar characteristics probably why us americans decided to call them bantam cochin
pekins are a true bantam meaning they dont have a large fowl counter part

with that being said i plan to breed REAL bantam cochin

Ok, I first want so say that I NEVER knew that pekins and bantam cochins were totally different, thanks for teaching me that! Because I was taught otherwise, that pekin is just the UK name for bantam cochin. That's literally insane.
Bantam wyandottes sure are cute!!!! I just love their body shape along with their short lil legs.
I will probably want to breed geese as well, I've heard that they're really cool birds even though I've never owned any myself. That said I am trying to convince my parents to build a lil coop for them so that we can get a few next year. Oh and I might want to breed very rare color variations of orpingtons like isabel cuckoo,

chocolate cuckoo,

and red cuckoo.

and chamois appenzeller spitzhauben look pretty cool too.

Me too-I’ve always wanted to do something with modern game bantams. I’m not sure if I’m gonna get into the breeding thing, but I definitely will collect them.
Silkies are so fun! I have one and she is adorable 🥰
They do get broody though.
And bunnies r awsome-I have three.
