What does your username mean?

Ironimagery is because I make things out of metal. Some people call it art. Like custom signs, coat racks out of horse shoes, large bells/wind chimes out of welding gas cylinders, and anvils from railroad track. I am a certified welder and use 3 common types of welding, as well as cutting with oxy/acetelyne and plasma and propane forge for shaping. I am a certified welder and was building bomb disposal/transport trailers until an injury left me unable to do that work any more.

Mine is a username I use in a few forums. I ride with a motorcycle club called "Saints and Sinners" but they do not accept female members. I came up with Girlsaint because Girls aint allowed to join lol. Then I became the girlsaint just because it was a slam to the guys...even people outside the club recognise me as one of "them".. (I put more miles on than some of them, ride a bigger motorcycle than some of them, but it's all about the "kahones" lol)

Mine came from the fact that I grew up in a Chevy crazed family and I became obsessed with Chevy muscle cars and trucks by the time I was 15 (seriously, I had a HUGE collage of cars on my wall when I was 15... I then took it to college with me - here it is in my room at school).

I had friends who were Ford people and they always teased me. Somewhere along the way I started saying I was a Chevy Girl at heart. So, eventually Chevygirl kind of stuck as a nickname.

My 1985 S10 was my baby. I bought it when I was 18 and took it to college with me. It had 170,000 miles on it when I bought it and it had issues (blow-by like you wouldn't believe - it would actually clog the air filter!) I had to fiddle with it just to get it started in the mornings to go to work. I was always the little girl working on her truck - people thought I was crazy. I put a new engine in that truck (saved up and barely ate during my first year of college in order to afford the engine), lifted it and took it four wheeling, and eventually converted it from carbureted to throttle body injection. When I joined some S10 forums to learn more about some of the things I was doing with my truck, I used the name Chevygirl (and ChevygirlBeth once because Chevygirl was already taken).

So, I guess thew short version is:
I like Chevys - I'm a girl - My first name is Beth.

I call my co-workers goobers when they make mistakes (I call myself Queen of Goobersville!) and added the hen. As someone else mentioned they were "older" than a Pullet, so am I!!
