Groomers have ties in the tub that keep the dog in the tub. Your pup might realize he can jump out and be trying to get past you? Also sprayer noise and pressure makes a difference. With the little ones I only use a gentle spray. Also have everything ready so you can go fast.

Sometimes I hate society. spreading lies like that. Its so cool you are a groomer. Maybe you can help me. Why is my dog an angel at the groomer but an absolute demon when I bathe her myself I just don't get it?!

I have to dogs named Finley and Oliver! They’re miniature/toy poodles.
Finley is the one who has most of the pictures.

I don’t have any photos of just Oliver, but the picture of the two play-fighting on the bottom is Oliver.

Oh my gosh, I love them!!! I love long haired daschunds. If I were to get myself I'd probably get a standard one, but the miniatures are soooo adorable

Yes, they didn't at first glance but then they noticed that they won't be leaving...

Maybe, we go to a diy dog wash and I think she knows I don’t know what I’m doing. I didn’t think about the gentle spray

The larger one is our 7 year old Standard American Bulldog. His name is Ralph. We wanted large dog, that would be a good all around family and farm dog. After quite a bit of research. We decided to get a bulldog. He has fully met our expectations and is just a great addition to the family. The smaller one is Sammie. She is a one year old boxer mix. We got her as a rescue to fill the void left from losing our chihuahua. She is great around all of our animals. She is a playful clown. We have only had her about a month. Her and Ralph became fast friends. They love playing tug of war. In the picture they are recouping from about a solid hour of dragging each other around.

Here is Tessa the blue standard poodle puppy. She is almost 9 weeks old. We chose a spoo because we are allergic to most other breeds and we wanted a big but not huge dog. Plus, spoo faces are adorable! One of my family members loves tricolor dogs and would have preferred something like a bernedoodle but there really aren't any high-quality, reputable breeders of mixed breeds like those and plus Berners are not an especially healthy breed. As for how we actually got Tessa, we had been researching poodle breeders for awhile and suddenly saw on the AKC Marketplace that 5 Star Poodles in Sacramento had a litter of 2 1/2 week old spoo puppies that were listed as "available." We called and the breeder said she still had one girl puppy that had not been spoken for, so we put down a deposit! I have been posting updates about Tessa on "orloffer's Spoo Puppy Thread!"
