what dose pip and internal pip mean

Internal and external pipping are two stages in hatching. Internal pipping occurs when the chick breaks through the membrane into the aircell at the fat end of the egg and starts breathing air for the first time. It's not always easy to tell when this has happened. But if you hear your egg cheeping, your chick has definitely pipped internally! External pipping is the next stage, and that's when the air inside the egg starts to run out, and the chick taps a tiny hole through the shell to start breathing air from outside the egg.
