What Duck do I have!!!!! Ahhh!!

It's a Silver Runner (the extended Black series "Silver", not the Silver wild color). It is basically Blue, but with two Blue dilution genes, instead of one. If you breed it to a Black Runner, you will then get 100% Blue offspring.

Blue Fawn is a completely different color and looks basically like a lightened Mallard in the down color.

All of our local TSC's said they got their ducks from Mount Healthy too and they don't sell runners (if I remember correctly but I haven't checked recently). I think they do pekin, swedes, khaki campbells and mallards. Interestingly though I did go into the Bennington VT (who also uses Mt. Healthy) and I swear they had 2 little Ancona babies so who knows!

In post #8 there is a dark duckling. I got two that look similar today a TSC.
Here is a picture of two of my new babies. (Obviously, the one on the left is the one I'm questioning about. The other is a New Hampshire.

Is the duckling a Khaki Campbell? Both of my ducklings look identical except that the other duckling has a darker beak with a bit less brown. Is this a way to tell male from female?

Thanks Feather Leg Farms! These little ducklings stole my heart! Yours are adorable too. The duck in question is really cute. It looks as though she is wearing little pink mud boots. She standing up so tall in them.)

I hope that I have KC. That's what I really wanted. I hope that someone comes along and can tell me for sure.
