What eats Blackberry vines?

SHeep , sheep, and sheep. They will eat anything, even your prized daylilies. They are EASY to keep in the fence, and are much neater pasture keepers than goats. Sheep eat the grass at the ground,, where goats nibble the tops off. I have a sebbie goose that eats grass ALL the time, but at the rate it produces poop, I don't need more than 1 LOL!!!!

Thanks to everyone for the responses!

Unless you really want goats long-term, I suggest borrowing a couple goats from someone. Small goats eat the new growth, but don't seem as impressed by older growth. My big nubian/boer cross knocked down the tall stuff, which allowed my 3 pygmies access. 1/4 acre of 8' tall blackberries were completely GONE before the summer was over! Now I have to feed them hay, as there is not a trace of blackberries anymore. The goats also ate a fairly large willow and a cascara tree in their 1/2 acre pen. Goats are browsers of brush, and prefer brush to grass. My geese, however, are GREAT mowers. Good luck.
