I recently won duck egg, quail eggs and hen eggs at a tombola. Out of curiosity I took one of each type of the hen eggs and placed them in my incubator. I had no idea how fresh they were, if the hens were kept with a roo or how long they had been refrigerated. One of the eggs was infertile but three are growing well! 
so I was wondering what hens these eggs are from if anyone knows? I know the chicks will probably not be purebreds as they will probably have had a different breed roo with them. 
The colour is not very good but the one in the bottom left is bluey/ green, the one at the top is almost white and the other is dark brown and speckled
they are pretty big eggs especially the blue one.
