What else can chicks eat to grow faster?

I've had my chicks brooding outside since they were a few days old. Brooded the last batch outside as well and they are now healthy 8 week olds running around their grow out coop. I don't brood with heat, just a wool hen, and haven't lost a chick yet. They're all doing extremely well.

They can go out as soon as they are acclimated to the outside temperatures. If you are brooding at 80, and it's 80 outside than they can go out. If it gets cooler at night they may need extra heat for a few weeks. I often put mine outside during the day, than back to the brooder at night, for a short time before they stay out permanently.

I'm following this. I have one chick that has fallen far behind in growth. Partly I suspect she wasn't as old as the breeder said (I didn't know! my first chickens) and partly I suspect because around 8 weeks she had a respiratory infection, she is fully recovered, but got passed up in terms of size the week she was ill and on medication. She runs around and eats and drinks lots and the bigger pullets don't pick on her, but she is tiny by comparison and her feathers look a bit scraggly compared to everyone else. I'm not sure if she needs a little extra help or will just get there in her own due time. So hopefully following this thread I will learn some good extras to add in with her food. I'm going to try the microwaved eggs myself!

I used to have a chicken that would not grow too a while ago.it was stayed the same size for the longest time it grew feathers so we then decided to put it outside and it passed away.:(

I put my egg in a microwaveable dish, splash of milk, scramble with a fork, cover with a paper towel, microwave for 30 seconds, check them, maybe another 10 seconds, squash with fork and put in my serving dish, and let them cool a bit.
Is this recipe good for people too? I'm a real lazy cook in my old age:lau
