Hello, I have chicks new from the store a few days ago. Last night one chick was breathing hard and laying flat like they do when they’re trying to die. She had a pasty vent, so I cleaned her, got her to drink electrolyte water I made and put her in her own separate box so she wouldn’t get trampled. She is still alive this morning and seems to be in much less distress, but she also still won’t walk and if you set her on her feet she falls over. Do I just give her time? Is there something else I can try?

Keep having her drink the water and eat a mash. Odds are she got too hot and then got too weak to move away from the lamp. Happened a lot with me this hear

If you have Nutridrench, put a drop directly into her beak.
