Well here's the new babies! Nine in all! 7 months old! 2 Drakes and 7 ducks! More pics to follow I just didn't wanna freak them out anymore then they already were! Happy to report though, after all I read about them not liking to go in their house, that all 9 went nicely to bed in their room tonight!

Do you have them locked in? The reason I'm asking is it looks like you only have chicken wire up and predators can stick their hands -paws claws into it and grab a duck pretty easy. If you only have chicken wire on the coop part I would reinforce with hardware cloth to protect them better. They are so pretty! Congrats!!
Please I hope I don't come across as nit picking but the waterer your using is fine but they will need a bucket or bowl deep enough to be able to wash their nares out and wash their faces. It's very important for their health.

I thought the same thing about the waterer Misslydia, but then I noticed that it looks like they have a rubbermade bowl to clean themselves. It is just to the right of the waterer in the pic.

Believe you me! I am not lost to that! Here is what happened: So I went to pick them up today not realizing how big the cage was that they were coming home in! The result of this was something had to get the boot from the truck! Either the Ducks (over my dead body) or their turtle shaped swimming pool that was supposed to come with them! Guess who did not make it to my house?? Mister turtle pool! My feed store is not open till tomorrow which is when I will be picking up a huge rubberized (for frozen water removal ease) pig waterer! It is a big, round 2 foot deep pig thing! I felt bad not giving them anything to play in today so used th only thing I had which is a way smaller version of the pig waterer from when my pig was a baby (she also has the really big one now)! It is only big enough for each one to take a turn but at least they all got a bath instead of none at all! I felt it was the better option for the day with the only other option beig no bath at all! The big one has more than enough room for all 9 to swim together!
