What exactly are they testing for?

When the state vet comes out to test for NPIP certification, what exactly are they testing for?

Specifically which diseases/illnesses?

NPIP tests for salmonella pullorum.

So if the birds have some sort of other disease like Coryza you can still be certified?

Meaning NPIP birds can still have other sickness?
