what feeders/waterers do YOU use in your coop...looking for suggestions

For water, right now I use this:
K&H Pet Products Poultry Waterer... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00INA5GMG/?tag=backy-20

It also has a heater-included option for more $$. I needed something that doesn't require twisting of parts apart, like those little chick waterers, which were killing my wrists.

I also use a 2 liter soda bottle with a vertical nipple cap - because they love it and because I'm more comfortable with my big flock (33 birds, including 4 cockerels, ages 12-18 weeks) having more than one source of water and food.
I may switch to a different waterer, though, as I want one that lasts at least a week, and can be deiced easily. And I already have horizontal nipples waiting :D

For food, I use a basic metal feeder, kind of like this one, except on mine you can adjust the height using 3 holes:

I have 2 of these right but one isn't mine so when we move soon, I'll probably make something bigger with PVC... it would be nice to bre able to pour at least 25# in at a time...

Thanks for the postings and pictures. I do have a 5 gal. bucket with nipples on the bottom not the sides. They have really not taken to the bottom ones that well. I should add the side ones and see if that helps. They get the other open ones so dirty, yuck!

We have had several of the water-ers that are open like you have there but the plastic on both of them has totally disintegrated over a year or so. Maybe you have a better brand or Maybe since you have it covered they will last longer. Looks like a nice run.

Nearly any feeder will work till the rats, mice, and wild birds find your coop. You can DIY and come up with a plastic contraption and continue feeding the rats or you can bite the bullet and solve feeding problems once and for all with a proper treadle feeder.

A proper treadle feeder has a narrow and distant treadle, counter weight on the door to provide some mass to prevent mice and rats from pushing the door open, a spring loaded door to give some added resistance, it should be all metal to prevent rats from chewing through to the feed, and have an inward swinging door to make the training easier and safer for the birds. You are gonna spend $100 for the feeder and shipping, higher prices for the feeder on Amazon and cheaper freight or pay higher freight off Amazon and pay a cheaper price for the feeder. We refuse to use Amazon so far, dirt cheap freight, but we would have to jack up the price of the feeder more than the cost of higher shipping to pay their fees.
