To me, the ideal summer day is waking up at dawn and watching the sunrise on my porch with a cup of coffee, then working in my garden for the morning. The day is spent mostly inside until afternoon, then I'd go out and grill, eating watermelon and homemade ice cream as the fireflies start to dot the horizon at dusk. Afterwards, going to the river bank and spending the night catching catfish.
