I am waiting for the oven to preheat for my cheese sticks. Only problem is, I got ahead of myself and made 42...

I think I didn't leave them in the freezer long enough, so they kinda melted too much and lost their shape and turned into cheese pools. I'm leaving the second batch in for longer before baking.
Now I'm not usually one to cry over spilled milk (or melted cheese), but I did almost cry, because I'm pregnant and they melted too much (that's it, that's my excuse), and also "Arby's knock-off" was a BITTER LIE. But... They are still nice cheese sticks and are yummy especially with the marinara. :') And they are kinda still sticks.

I'd love some prime rib right now. And a green salad. But the sun has gone down and it's 90F and dropping so instead I'm going to go outside and get more work done.

The second batch came out much more nicely after a total of 45-50 minutes in the freezer, as opposed to 30.
I still feel the emotional sting of the initial disappointment... But my craving has been sufficiently satisfied.
