What food do you/spouse refuse to even try?

I have never and will never allow canned mexicorn or beets in my life/household/property. LOL! I love corn, I love peppers, but NOT mexicorn. Beets are another story...don't think I'd try them any which way!

I won't eat brains or hominy. My brother can't stand egg plant. He says it tastes like a sponge and I think he has a point. My DH won't eat bananas, peanut butter, lima beans, avocados, or chocolate. I think he's nuts. BTW, if I want to cook with lima beans, or put bananas in the fruit salad, or make a chocolate cake, I do. I cater to him exactly the way his mother did. She didn't put up with a lot of nonsense either. I do make sure that I have something he is willing to eat though.

Duck meat, I love it but he says it taste bloody.
Fish row, I like it in eggs, he hates it.

Hubby won't eat pasta and I have a huge list

ham, lobster. tuna fish, scollops, oysters, anything out of water is a no go but I love fishing.
No brussel sprouts,lima beans, boy the list for me goes on and on.

He won't eat sushi...I LOVE sushi. Actually, he hates fish of any sort and that's practically the only meat I HAVE to have to survive!

I won't eat:
Celery (omg gag me with a SPOON!)
Coconut

My DH won't eat seafood, mushrooms or cheesecake. Those are my 3 most favorite things to eat.

I will eat just about anything but I draw the line at animal heads and feet LOL

ETA: Oh, I have to take that back.....I suck the heads on crawfish!

I don't think there is anything my dh wouldn't eat at least once.
