What geese do I get?

I am looking for advice on what breed of geese to get next year. I will be interested in breeding them, so I need a sellable breed, they also need to be super cold, withstanding 50 below weather, also a lot of eggs always helps. I had brown Chinese/brown African before and just loved them! I have always liked the way they look over others, like emdens.

Best advice is to go with what you like. If you want a lot of eggs then the chinese are the best choice. As for a sellable breed it just depends on your area and if geese in general are popular. If looking for profit no breed will bring that if they are provided for the right way. As the saying goes " to make a small fortune in animals, you must invest a large fortune in them"

I love africans mine are so tame ! In breeding season im allowed to hold the africans babies and she dosent care if only i put it back

Very true. Go with what you like. I really like American buffs. If you like Chinese or Africans go with them.

You can buy a bunch of goslings and you will get a male and female for sure or you can ask a owner that sells geese(but some lie and give you the wrong sex of the geese)and offcourse if you live in the states then you can get sexed geese from metzer farm °_°
