I got these two back in June. I believe they are 14-15 weeks old and I'v tried to find out what gender they are, but all the information I've looked has been confusing. What do you all think? Blue band is Harley and no band is Henrietta/Henry

I’m somewhat new to chickens, but I would guess that they are roosters. The feathers coming off their back are telling of a rooster. Hen feathers tend to be neater and shorter instead of “flowing” like that. I’m curious though, because I have 5 Wyandotte’s that are 6 weeks old. They are supposed to be hens, but two have me wondering.

Both are cockerels. You can tell by the shape of the tail and the lacing, not to mention the comb size and color.
Oh bummer. I was afraid of this. I might not be able to keep roosters in my neighborhood and I really wanted a SLW pullet.

Both of mine were supposed to be hens, but I suspected that, at least the bigger one, wasn't because of his behavior.
