). And I just want to add that I don't know if size is always a good way to determine roo/pullet because I have barred rock pullets that are twice the size of others...

No, Teeville you're my only hope!!! My RIR do not have combs like your roo at one week less. I really need them to be girls. My confirmed crowing barred rock roo at 13 weeks already has sickle feathers.

This was taken last night. Both chickens look just alike, one just has a better tail:

Here's 2 more photos I just took today. They're full body shots of my 17week old roo and some of the ladies (same age). See the varying comb sizes of the pullets.

I just want to add that Red started crowing at 12-13 weeks old.
