What gender are these babies? guess on breed mix?

All these chicks are about 10-12 weeks old
Pretty sure she's a pullet #1 but need confirmation

Suspect this is pullet #2

Pullet or cockerel #3

Pullet or cockerel #4

Cockerel #1- my pretty boy

The last 3 are just to help with guessing which breeds they are mixed with.

1 & 2 are both pullets
3 is too hard to tell, although that light comb looks like a pullet
4 the one on the left looks like a cockeral, one on the right is a pullet

As for what breed they are I couldn't tell you, they're pretty though, especially the dappled white on chicken #1

#1 is my favorite.
#4 has been mock fighting with the boys but comb is small and pink

The 3 questionable ones you asked about are pullets.

I do believe they are all mixes...


mock fighting and play fighting is not a sign of gender, hens/pullets do it to each other - its establishing order and dominace.

That would be great I was afraid we had 5 cockerels and only 2 pullets

Any other guesses? They are farmyard free range mixes with some bantams mixed in. The large chickens are going to help breed the bantam out. 2 ameracana or ee roos to make some pretty chickens.

The pullet in #4 has turned out to be a late bloomer cockerel. There is an updated pic in the post

We do have 2 pullets and 5 cockerels. Well 4 now since a predator got the cockerel in #3.
