What gender are these Piegons?

Ok, so a week ago I got these Old German owl pigeons. The seller declared that the lavenderish colored ones were females, and the red/Brown is a male. I got one of each...but I have no clue what genders they are...since I'm a little hesitant about it. Can anyone help me sex them by the pics...or tell me what to look for in a male or FEMALE??

what time of day was the pic taken males usually sit from 8 to five duering the day hens rest of the time

It was taken around 8 p.m., but I actually had a pigeon expert come to our house and tell me, the one on the nest is a male, and the brownish one is the hen. Thanks!

they are lovely.. hope you get some nice young from them.

My pigeons are all mixed up and males are with males. females with females, and no babies!!. When I try to pair them up they just fight.
