Both are almost 9 weeks old. Light Brahma and an Easter Egger (we think?).
Any thoughts on gender?

Thanks everyone. I had a hunch the LB was a cockerel from early on. But I really thought the EE was a hen....explains why it has been trying to crow the past few days 🤦‍♀️

If they are both cockerels, any advice on when to rehome them before they start attacking one another? They are our only 2 chickens and get along well as of now.

You can keep cockerels perfectly fine together with no hens, the only thing is can you keep them and do you want to keep them? They shouldn't attack each other as there is no hens to squabble over.

Good to know!
My boys love them so I'd hate to get rid of them but we are not allowed Roosters in our town. Perhaps if they are quiet we can keep them!

We purchased them from a local farm. My 5 year old picked the 2 biggest from a group of 6 chicks lol.
