This is my three week old bantam chick. It was the only successful little chick so it is very special to me.

I know it might be too soon to determine its gender but I just can’t wait any longer. I haven’t named it yet since I don’t know the gender but I want start calling him something it can listen to me to.

Is there anyone who can help me determine his gender so I can give this little guy or girl a name, thanks

I’m saying based of the fact that he has such a red comb, he is a cockerel. He is a very beautiful little guy :)
Oh my! You have no idea how happy that makes me!! If he does turn out to be a roo... he’s going to be as handsome as his dad.

Thank you so much!! 🥰

This is the dad by the way ⤵️

I did forget to mention earlier that I’m not 100% sure. So just post updated picks when he’s 6 weeks just to be sure :)

Three weeks or six weeks. You'll find out.. What's the hurry. The grave awaits us all..

cockerel

If it was a Dutch bantam I would have no doubt about it being a cockerel.
But I don’t know this breed. What kind of a bantam is this?
I’m not really sure what type of bantam it is. I was in between Serama or Dutch. Do you think you can help me identify their breed?

This is a picture of the parents of the chick

(p.s. the little rooster got frostbite that’s why part of his comb fell off)
