What gender is my 6 week old EE? 8 images.

Ok so my Easter egger is now eight weeks old and has started to try and step on the pullets so I'm pretty certain I have a cockerel and he is sparing now. Do some breeds not get their wattles till much later? Because he has none. Or is it still possible I have a pullet?

Can you post a current photo? Behavior is a very poor point to evaluate in gender determination.....the physical characteristics, though, are reliable.

I would still say pullet (based on the old pics) but I wouldn't expect green eggs... Yellow feet and single comb-- If you're sure it's a EE I'd guess she's gonna lay brown eggs.

I noticed a bright "pointy" feather today. Center of pic down a bit.

Hi everyone! He is now 15 weeks old and his comb has developed a lot more now before I thought and others on here thought that he had a single comb but now it is looking like a pea comb! I'm so excited! Could this mean it is possible he carries the blue egg gene?! His feet are yellow though... but he has a pea comb!

It looks some kind of modified comb. It happens when there are several conflicting comb genes trying to express. Since he started with what looked like a single comb, which is recessive, it is not likely to be a pea comb, which is dominant, just now showing up. It could be the effect of a rose comb gene though.
