Hi, I’m looking for help on identifying what gender my Austrolorp is. We have 2, but this one is significantly larger and more friendly than our other Austrolorp.

Our other Austrolorp has purple shiny feathers and is much smaller. We got them at a local farm in south east melbourne. When we got them at 2 weeks old, the lady who sold it to us assured us they are all pullets. However, as time went by I realized she couldn’t really know at that age. We also bought 2 Isabrowns and 1 leghorn from her.Your Australorp appears to be a pullet. There would be more comb/wattle development at that age if it were a cockerel. There is brown leakage all over her black feathers. She appears to be a mix. Where did you get her?
