What gender is my black shouldered peafowl?

Hi I have a black shouldered peafowl not quite sure what it’s gender is could use some help

How can you tell it’s male? I thought black shouldered peahens were whiteish. But I’m happy with make or female

The darker feathers starting to come in between his shoulder blades.
