What gender is my chick?

I have a 8 week old chick and I want to figure out if it is a cockerel or a pullet. I’m not sure what breed it is either which doesn’t help. Where I live, we can only keep hens, as roosters crow and disturb others. I hope it is a pullet, so I can keep it. Does anyone know what gender it is?

Looks like a pullet. Breed could be mixed due to those feathers on the leg.

Looks like a pullet. I see no saddlebag feathers and the tail is straight, the wattles and comb looks like pullet. Looks like your good!

Yay! That’s good news! I think she is definitely a pullet too, just needed to make sure. I also do think she is some kind of Maran mix maybe. I guess I’ll have to figure out as she grows.
