What gender is my EE baby

I guess maybe the picture is deceiving they both have pea combs. Yea, I know the peach and cream one is not a Splash. The gray one is a splash. I really hope the little cream one is a girl.

Yea the red blotches are the only thing that worries me. It has a very girlish attitude and seems a lot smaller then the others. Its pea comb also doesn't have any red yet but, those red blotches.

I think the peach/cream is a girl. I don't think the color pattern is a boy pattern.

ETA: Dark red on this chicken is not showing on my monitor....HOWEVER....I looked at it again and the thick legs are obvious.

Let us know the outcome.

My 9-month EE cockerel has a light frame (terrific flyer, too!) and has never been pushy or aggressive. He has my tough-girl pullet challenging his manliness regularly.

If your chick had a solid patch of the peachy color on the breast, I'd say it looked girly but the way the colors are distributed looks more and more masculine to me. It's not an easy color pattern to sex, though, so I'm still not 100% but in a couple more weeks, I think it's going to be obvious.

He is really tiny. I have thought about the fact he might just be wimpy too. He/ she might just be the least dominant roo in the set of three, so he is trying to keep it down. Anytime he gets scared though he runs and hides behind the biggest boy. I know the splotchy thing but, it just seems to have such a girly personality. Also its body type seems girly. I don't know I guess we will see. I will update this post if he/ she starts rooing. :0)

The red splashes on the buff and white chick indicate rooster.

Um, yeah... mine used to run and hide too... and he acted like a baby for a looooooooong time. I thought it was very weird that he'd mate one of the pullets during the day and then try to sleep with his head under her wing at night. He somewhat reluctantly took the role of flock leader at ~14 weeks (no other roosters, he only had to convince the pullets). BUT, he's all about predator protection and mating now. He's just not aggressive. I have young kids and hadn't planned on a rooster at all so I wouldn't put up with much from him. Maybe my Clark somehow knows that the deal was be wimpy or die...
