What gender is my WHITE LEGHORN?

[Welbies]

We have two chickens, Sunshine and Buttercup that need sexing. They are nine weeks and no one has crowed! This is our first time.

We are pretty certain Sunshine is a White Leghorn and
Buttercup is a Buff Polish.

Sunshine is a cockerel, butter cup is buff laced polish i think.. just bad coloring, looks like a pullet to me but i have trouble sexing crested breeds.

i'm gonna go with female.....

has s/he started puffing up and fighting with the others? does s/he act demure or aggressive? my white leghorn was clearly a male by that time - had the tail plumes and everything ...

I'm gonna say Sunshine is a cockerel. My leghorn girls are 12 weeks and their combs are a lot smaller than that. no idea on the other one.

Yeah, I think the WL is a male. The polish looks female to me.
