What gender is this ameraucana??

It is about 17 weeks old and my husband and I are in debate over whether it is a cockerel or pullet.

Can you get closer views of its comb from the front and side?

But its tail feathers look more like a roo.

Thats a cockerel all the way. You can see his long slender saddle feathers

I will look and see if we have any other pictures or take a new one but the tail feathers made us think roo..

He hasn't acted like a roo with our other roosters..

Im sorry but there is no way that chicken will ever lay an egg he is 10,000% cockerel. His hackels and saddles tell it all and so does that tail. Pullets will never have long slender pointed hackels and saddles

He's just young and not challenging the older guys yet caues he doesen't want to get his butt kicked. He's a smart young man.
